Drum Screen PWL TanFlow TFS for wastewater treatment of wineries

The externally fed drum screen PWL TanFlow TFS is convincing in another branch by its compact design, reliability and efficiency. During the processing of grapes to wine seasonally organically highly polluted sewage flows. Whose effective treatment requires a reliable separation of grape residues, berries, stalks and combs.

Within the inlet chamber the incoming medium is homogenized and the flow velocity reduced. The dammed up water passes a weir and runs through the wedge wire sieve drum while the solids are picked-up by the rotating drum and transported to a scraper. Being statically dewatered they are removed from the drum.

At the bottom of the drum the water enters, thus causing a wash-back-effect which serves in addition to clean the sieve. The outlet chamber is equipped with a discharge pipe. In addition to the scraper, there is a spray bar inside the drum which operates in intervals. If necessary, the cleaning effect can be increased with hot water.
